An education in the arts is about much more then being a performer.
Through the creative process we deal with everyday situations
and learn how to be better people. The various activities
taught will teach us how to manage our feelings and recognize
emotions, make personal decisions and examine the consequences,
resolve conflict, be empathetic, develop trust as well
as cooperation and personal responsibility.

Summer Arts camps are a fun introduction to the world
of theatre with an emphasis on the three disciplines of drama, voice and dance.
Each week will have a different theme leading to a
presentation on the last day of camp.
Each day will be packed with fun activities including craft and movie time.
Vocal: Training will include the learning of songs, poems and choral speaking.
Proper breathing techniques will be taught as well as enunciation and
articulation. Drama: The following methods will be used to develop
children's imagination and stage presence: dramatic play,
creative drama, mime, pantomime and improvisations.
Dance: Primarily stage movement and musical theatre
will be the focus of the week with elements of tap,
jazz and ballet being incorporated depending on the theme.
Other: Theatre games designed to break down
barriers and build team work will be played each day
as well as theatre crafts including masks, magazine stories,
scripts and puppetry. PAC students bring their lunch and
snacks and dress in comfortable clothing with non-marking shoes.
Socks and bare feet are acceptable. If you do have dance
shoes bring them with you. Camp runs each day from 9:00-4:00.

"Pop Stars"
Pop Stars is a fun, upbeat camp for the emerging performer.
It features the music of Mily Cyrus, The Jonas Brother's , Demi Lovato and other Disney stars.

Choreography and songs wil be learned leading to a mini concert on the last day of camp.
Pop Stars also includes all the features of the Performing Arts Camps.

"Diva's Camp"
Dance Diva's is a girl's only fun "Pop Stars" style camp culminating
in the making of a "MTV" style video. A current
pop song will be taught and choreography learned for the making
of the video on the last day of camp.
Makeup application, hair styling and a Mani/Pedi
will enhance your inner "Diva". On camera and
Microphone technique will be learned. Special projects
will be made and there will be movie time as well.
"Diva's" bring their lunch and snack except for
Friday when there will be a special luncheon.
"Diva" camp runs from 9:00-4:00.
